Isleta Resort & Casino
Sportsbook Review
Isleta Resort & Casino is home to New Mexico’s only BetMGM-branded sportsbook, opened in November 2023. As the first major national operator partnership in NM, it offers the broadest market depth and recognizable BetMGM odds boards. Just 15 minutes south of downtown Albuquerque, it’s the most accessible book for ABQ-area bettors.
Quick Facts
Inside Isleta's BetMGM Sportsbook
Isleta Resort & Casino brought BetMGM to New Mexico — and with it, the deepest sportsbook market in the state. The Pueblo of Isleta partnered with the national operator in November 2023, opening a branded retail book just south of Albuquerque on Broadway Boulevard. It was the first time a Tier 1 mobile-betting operator had set foot in NM, and the move instantly raised the ceiling on what local bettors could expect from prop depth, same-game parlays, and pricing.
The lounge itself is built around BetMGM's signature look: a dedicated entrance off the casino floor, large-format odds boards, branded ticket counters, and a separate bar area. Although the BetMGM mobile app does not function in New Mexico (state law prohibits online betting), every market you'd see on the app — including same-game parlays, deep player props, and live in-game lines — is available at the counter and on betting kiosks here.
Beyond the book, Isleta is a full Las Vegas-style resort: a 201-room hotel, the Isleta Eagle 27-hole golf course, the Showroom concert venue, and Embers Steakhouse. It's the only NM property where you can comfortably plan a multi-day stay built around game days. Of all five tribal books, Isleta is the most permissive on UNM Lobos and NMSU Aggies game lines, though prop bets on individual NM athletes remain off the board.
